Let’s be honest – we want you to want to have artificial grass installed! Needless to say, Frank might love carpet, but he also has a soft spot for artificial grass.
We’ve mentioned in previous blogs that artificial grass is such a simple solution for gardens or yardens. Ditching the mower and all of the dreaded TLC jobs with a stunning artificial grass installation is definitely the way forward, especially if you want a luscious year-round lawn.
With the weather getting warmer and restrictions being lifted, we find ourselves with the perfect opportunity to have countless garden parties and BBQs, inviting friends and family over after months apart. With this in mind, getting a new artificial lawn laid could be serendipitous. All of that extra footfall you will be expecting will play terror with your current lawn, leaving it a little limp. So, it is the perfect time to get artificial grass down in time for the summer.
Getting The Colour Right
You might just think that artificial grass is green, and it’s a done deal. When really, our artificial grass comes in a wide range of shades of green. Depending on the foliage of your garden, you might want to check out a few different shades in store to make sure what you get laid matches with your decor.
Getting The Thickness Right
Like carpet, artificial grass comes in a variety of thicknesses and weights. The higher the density of the grass, means there will be more blades of grass – giving the lawn a quality feel and touch. It all depends on what you want to achieve. Do you want an artificial lawn to replace your current lawn, which won’t be walked on, and you want to replicate that long, lush grass look? Or do you want something rugged and hard-wearing? Perfect for loads of footfall? All these things have to be weighed up before we look to lay your lawn.
How Much Space Coverage
When you look at your lawn, do you think, “wow, that is a canny size”? You might also think, “do I need to replace all of the lawn with artificial grass?”. Now would be the perfect time to add any additional elements to the garden, i.e. patios or decking areas. If you’re getting the entire lawn dug up and removed, you might as well make the most of it while you can!
Do Your Maths
Once you are happy with the space, shade and thickness – it is time to work out your budget. Now, Frank’s will work with any budget, and we won’t be beaten on price – which is always a winner! But, you need to really work out what you can afford and include things like the installation. If you come to your local Frank’s with a budget in mind, we can work backwards from there, highlighting different types of artificial grass that will fit.
If you are just chumming the waters and need to talk to someone about getting artificial grass laid, why not pop along to your local Frank’s where you’ll be able to discuss your needs with a member of our team and also have an up-close look and feel of our amazing artificial grass.
