Guess what? It’s our 25th birthday this month here at Frank’s! Who could believe that the North East’s largest family-run, independent flooring giant has been around for a quarter of a century?

It’s been crazy but we’ve loved every minute of it; from bringing you the best prices on flooring that anywhere can offer and seeing happy customers walk out of our shop doors, to expanding the Frank’s name across the region so that we now have a total of 30 stores open.

Let’s throw it back to where it all began when we opened our very first store on Portrack Lane in Stockton in 1996 – it seems like a lifetime ago! Back then we were actually called Frank’s Factory Flooring and were for several years while we went on to open up our Hartlepool and Darlington stores. In 2002 however, we decided it was time to rebrand and that’s when Frank’s The Flooring Store hatched and has been our identity ever since.

Since then, we’ve opened up another 27 stores across the North East to keep our customers happy and supplied with the best prices on quality flooring products. You can find us in Newcastle, Northumberland, Sunderland, Durham, Darlington, and Middlesbrough – find your local store here on our website in just a few simple clicks.

It’s safe to say that we’ve come a long way over the years! From the first-ever TV advert we did back in 2010 where you got to meet Wayne for the first time, to the brand spanking new TV advert we’ve been working on in celebration of our magnificent milestone.

What a difference a decade makes!

Not only have we rebranded, opened up 30 Frank’s stores, and improved our TV presence; we’ve also launched our new website designed and developed by the local digital experts at Hush Digital. Our fresh new look continues to keep us up-to-date with the ever-growing market and is a great starting point for our customers looking to buy new flooring from us.

Even though you can’t actually buy flooring on our website; it’s jam-packed with all the products we have in stock, plenty of ideas and room inspiration, and lots of helpful information on how to prepare your home for new flooring. All you have to do then is pop down to your local Frank’s and we’ll find the flooring that’s right for you.

So, it’s all been great, the last 25 years at Frank’s! To say thanks, we’re offering our customers a £25 gift voucher to use towards their next purchase. Don’t miss out – download yours here.

We’re also hosting an exciting competition over on our Facebook page where you could be in with the chance of winning up to £2500 worth of carpet*. Imagine winning that – c’mon, enter now!
