Covid-19 Update – We Are Open!
Since the UK went on lockdown at the end of March, the team at Frank’s has been carefully monitoring the situation and have followed government guidelines with regards to Covid-19.
However, after careful consideration and consultation with the relevant authorities, Frank’s The Flooring Store is pleased to announce that as of 9am, Friday 22nd May we will be opening our branches to the public.
At Frank’s, we take the health and safety of our customers, staff, suppliers and the general public seriously. While other companies in the marketplace decided to open at a much earlier date, we wanted to ensure that everyone in the Frank’s family could operate safely.
If you ordered flooring from Frank’s before the lockdown taking place, a customer service representative from Frank’s should have contacted you over the phone in the last 48 hours to discuss your needs regarding your flooring and installation. If, for whatever reason, you’ve missed this call or you’ve not heard from anyone by Tuesday 26th May 2020, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your full details. We will pass your details onto the relevant store for processing and contact.
We have implemented a system for the rebooking of installations. If your installation was due the first day of lockdown, we would attempt to book your new installation on the first available day. If you were due the second day of lockdown, we would try to schedule your new installation on the second available day. We will work with you to make sure that we can deliver and install your flooring at a date and time convenient for your needs.
If you have not purchased your carpet and now want to visit your local store to choose your flooring, you can now do so, as long as you adhere to the following social distancing guidelines in store:
In light of recent government advice, we have recently completed our preparations to make our stores safe for our staff and all customers. We have educated our managers and installed various guidance, point of sale material, and instore radio messages at each store to ensure all staff and customers stay alert and continue to apply social distancing measures.
While we have installed various guidance notices around our stores, we have also undertaken a deep clean throughout every single store, and we have adapted our working practices to ensure customer and staff safety.
If you have a new installation date booked, our fitters have been briefed with new guidelines for fitting carpets in customers’ premises. We will ensure that all protective measures are in place, and our fitters will be asked to avoid any contact with you to ensure social distancing is adhered. Please ensure that the room(s) in which we are installing are clear of any furniture and the old flooring is uplifted and cleared. Our fitters will ensure that all tools and equipment are sterilised, and the appropriate PPE will be worn at all times.
